The name William & Stone reflects the foundations on which our firm is built—heritage, integrity, and a deep connection to community.

“William” honours the late William (Kartar) Singh, the grandfather of our Principal. After Williams father migrated to Australia in the early 1900’s, he became a strong advocate for growth, opportunity, and the advancement of women in professional fields. He wholeheartedly supported his daughter and granddaughter, both of whom have made meaningful and ongoing contributions to the legal profession.

“Stone” represents where our Principal was raised, symbolising her enduring connection to her roots and the values instilled in her from an early age.
